Around Amelia, October 6, 7, and 8, on beautiful Amelia Island, is in the planning stages now. Any media is acceptable, any level of painter. We will have lots of subjects from which to choose, including southern architecture (think Charleston), marshes, and beaches. We will be using structures in the Callaway Gardens for drawing on-site. No experience necessary.

Registration also will entitle you to a discount on accommodations in the gardens.

The festival began in late March this year and continues through May with seminars and special events related to gardening. I met several people last year who said this was THE time to come to Epcot and I am happy to provide them with a small painting as a remembrance! Check out Disney’s site for more information on the festival: www.WaltDisneyWorld.com under "Special Events, International Flower and Garden Festival".
